There are so many activities and excursions available near to Rock Farm in addition to the on-site activities. We use several reputable licensed guides and tour companies. If you wish to take any tours during your stay, please let us know in advance if possible so we can get the best rates for you.

Golf Course (1 Mile)

The only mainland golf course in Belize. It is a 64 par executive-style golf course. 

 

Guanacaste National Park (3 miles)

"Visitors can enjoy various recreational and educational activities throughout the year at GNP. The park provides a picnic area, interpretive displays, two miles of maintained trails, a bird watching deck, and a clean swimming area."

 

ATM caves (5 miles)

"This cave is one of the most popular Mayan burial sites in Western Belize. The cave contains four skeletons, ceramics, and stoneware left by the Maya.  The most famous skeleton inside the cave is that of a young girl, the bones of which have been completely covered by the natural processes of the cave, leaving them with a sparkling appearance. The cave itself is several kilometers long with several chambers."

 

Horseriding (5 miles)

Banana Bank is home to the finest horseback riding in Belize, they offer an opportunity to participate in a hands on experience of interacting with horses. Can be booked with reasonably short notice from Rock Farm

Blue Hole (15 Miles)

The Belize Blue Hole National Park is a pleasant half mile walk from Caves Branch lodge. The Blue Hole itself is a cenote caused when the roof of an underground cave collapsed. You can enjoy the calmness of the area and a refreshing swim in the crystal blue water. In 2014 this natural attraction received the Tripadvisor award for excellence!

Cave Tubing (20 miles)

Belize’s longest and most spectacular “River of Caves” cave tubing float...over 7 miles underground.  Enter the exciting world of rivers disappearing into the underworld as you float on inner tubes with only your headlamp to light your way.

The Belize Zoo (25 Miles)

29 acres of tropical savanna exhibiting over 170 animals, representing over 45 species, all native to Belize. The Zoo keeps animals which were orphaned, rescued, born at the zoo, rehabilitated animals, or sent to The Belize Zoo as donations from other zoological institutions.

 

San Ignacio Iguana project (25 miles)

Over the past few years, the San Ignacio Resort Hotel have been at the forefront of conservation for the threatened Green Iguana. This exhibit is on the Resort's property in order to create a closer look at this amazing reptile, and to learn how vital they could be to the ecological balance of the river habitat.

 

 

Caves Branch Botanical Gardens (28 miles)

Take tours of their onsite Botanical Garden. Enjoy the marked plants and foliage, learn about and enjoy the lovely flowers that bloom and add colour to our rainforest surroundings.
